PH Embassy in Berne Welcomes its First Applicant as an Overseas Voter for the Presidential Elections

BERNE 17 December 2019 – The Philippine Embassy in Berne welcomed Ms. Janice Rueegi, who became the Embassy’s first applicant for Registration for the ongoing Overseas Voters (OV) Registration in preparation for the 09 May 2022 Presidential Elections.

The Embassy encourages all eligible Filipinos in Switzerland and Liechtenstein who are not yet registered Overseas Voters to visit the Embassy and register to vote during the 09 May 2022 Elections.

Applicants are requested to note the following registration period on 16 December 2019 to 20 September 2021, filing for applications for: registration/certification for transfer of records from the Philippines to the Embassy/Consulate; change of name due to marriage or  court order/correction of entries in the Voter’s Registration Record; reactivation; and change of address; and on 16 December 2019 to 16 August 2021 – filing for application for transfer of records from Post to the Philippine municipality/city/district

The Embassy is also reminding Filipinos to bring the following requirements with you during your visit: photocopy of valid Philippine passport, and for dual citizens, original or certified true copy of the Identification Certificate or Order of Approval issued by the Embassy or Consulate General where they took their Oath; or,  for seafarers, a copy of the Seaman’s Book or any other pertinent document.
