TEL AVIV 18 December 2019 — The Processed Business & Business Development of S&W Fine Foods International Limited Head Sumarleki Amjah, and CEO and Founder of Jeraisi Haifa Alaa Jeraisi, met with Philippine Ambassador to the State of Israel Neal Imperial and discussed ways to further promote Philippine pineapple juice products to the mainstream Israeli market on 11 December 2019.

Amjah informed Ambassador Imperial that the 2019 initial volume of export of S&W pineapple juice to Israel is about 60,000 cases amounting to around NIS six million (USD two million).

Jeraisi expressed optimism that there is potential to increase exports to Israel to USD five million next year. Philippine pineapple juice products are now sold in many Israeli supermarkets.

“With the entry of S&W pineapple juice in the mainstream Israeli market, a well-known international brand of quality juices especially in the United States, high quality Philippine food products are now gaining popularity among Israeli importers and consumers,” according to the Ambassador.

Recently, Israeli importers are also becoming interested in other agricultural products from the Philippines such as fresh and dried fruits. According to Amjah, S&W will soon launch its dried pineapple product and will definitely explore Israel as one of its priority markets. END
