MILAN 10 January 2019 — The Philippine Consulate General in Milan organized the Filipino event with Father John Paul Avila to led the celebration of the first-ever Simbang Gabi and food fair on 09 December 2019 at the Philippine Consulate.
To complete the experience, the attendees were invited to partake of typical Filipino fare after the mass. Filipino delicacies such as puto bumbong, arrozcaldo, palabok, kakanin and caldereta were served to the delight of the public. This distinctive Filipino event was attended not only by kababayans, but also by Italians and other nationalities.
The salu-salo was also made possible with the participation of five food caterers who showcased their best food. These are Palayok, Smiley Food Corporation, Bahay Kubo, Sunrise, and Fortuna. END
