Honolulu  consular mission in Kona hawaii

24 April 2014 - Consul General Julius D. Torres, in his last official trip as Head of Post of the Philippine Consulate General, Honolulu, Hawaii, led a mobile consular mission to Kona, Hawaii from April 19 to 20. 

The consular team was able to provide a total of 269 consular services which include applications for ePassport, notarials, authentication, civil registries and  dual citizenship during the two-day outreach program.

A reception in honor of the Consul General and Mrs. Torres, organized by Ms. Jane Clement, President of the Kona Visayan Club, was held in the evening of April 19. Hawaii County Managing Director Wally Lau, on behalf of Hawaii Mayor Billy Kenoi, Councilmember Dru Mamo Kanoha, and Filipino community members were in attendance during the reception to convey their appreciation for the leadership and vision of the Consul General  during his tour of duty in Honolulu, and to bid him and Mrs. Torres their warm Mahalo (Thank You) and Aloha (Goodbye).
