PHOTO: A total of 311 Filipinos affected by the ongoing conflict and the COVID-19 pandemic in Libya have so far been assisted by the Philippine Embassy in Tripoli with the help of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the World Food Program (WFP) of the United Nations. In the past three weeks, the Embassy has been delivering IOM-WFP food rations to Filipino oil workers, who were displaced by the shutdown in oil production, as well as Filipino hospital workers who have not been receiving their salaries or allowances.
