PH Embassy in Damascus Celebrates Eid’l Fitr 

PHOTO: On 24 May 2020, Housemother Kathleen Llarena (seated, center) joined the Filipino Workers Resource Center (FWRC) wards in celebrating the Eid’l Fitr.  At the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadhan, the Philippine Embassy in Damascus offered a sumptuous dinner to the FWRC wards.

In keeping with Islamic observance during the month of Ramadhan, the FWRC wards also partook of Iftar, a meal of breaking of the fast, in the evening after observing fasting during the daylight hours. (Damascus PE photo)
