PH Embassy in Ottawa Holds Ceremony in Celebration of 122 Years of PH Independence(Ottawa PE photo)

OTTAWA 15 June 2020 – The Philippines Embassy in Canada held a solemn ceremony in commemoration of the 122^nd Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence on 12 June 2020 at the Chancery’s Mindanao Hall.

Philippine Ambassador to Canada Petronila P. Garcia delivered her Philippine Independence Day message, while Deputy Chief of Mission Francisco Noel R. Fernandez III and Consul General Alan L. Deniega read the messages of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr., respectively.

In observance of the current health and hygiene guidelines, the event was attended only by Embassy personnel. END
