PH Embassy in Prague Celebrates 122nd Anniversary of PH Independence

PRAGUE 17 June 2020 – In a simple and solemn ceremony, Philippine Ambassador to the Czech Republic Ombra T. Jainal led the officers and staff of the Embassy in celebrating the 122nd Anniversary of Philippine Independence at the Chancery on 12 June 2020.
During the ceremony, the messages of Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro L. Locsin, Jr., centered on the theme “Kalayaan 2020: Tungo sa Bansang Malaya, Nagbabayanihan at Ligtas”, were read by Philippine Ambassador to the Czech Republic Ombra T. Jainal and Minister and Consul General Indhira C. Bañares, respectively.
In view of the current epidemiological situation, the Embassy opted to send digital postcards to the diplomatic corps and its network of contacts to celebrate the national day of the Philippines. END
