WASHINGTON, D.C. 01 July 2020 — The Philippine Embassy in Washington D.C. resumed limited consular services on 29 June 2020, and began a phased process for the restoration of full consular operations.

The Consular Section began processing the passport applications of all those with cancelled appointments in March 2020. New regular appointments for passport applications will be processed beginning Monday, 06 July 2020.

Applications for Civil Registration (except for Consular Mortuary Certificates), Dual Citizenship, Legalization, and Visas remain suspended. Appropriate announcements on their resumption will be made in due course.

To help stem the spread of the novel coronavirus and protect the public availing themselves of consular services, the Embassy has also implemented adjustments in its operations.

Appointments will be strictly required, and no walk-ins shall be entertained. Appointments may be made up to 30 calendar days in advance at: https://philippineembassy-usa.org/appointments/.

Each applicant requires a confirmed appointment for each of his transaction. No group or family appointments are allowed. And an applicant must secure an appointment time for each consular transaction he wishes to make.

Temperature checks and facemasks will be compulsory in order to enter the consular building.

Only a limited number of clients will be allowed in the processing lobby and shall practice physical distancing. Clients are advised to arrive only 10 minutes before their appointments; and only applicants will be allowed to enter the lobby unless needing special assistance.

The consular team will continue to respond to queries and address concerns via email. The consular team directory may be found here: https://philippineembassy-usa.org/directory/

In case of an emergency, please call +1.202.368.2767. END
