PH Embassy in Washington Resumes Overseas Voting Registration

WASHINGTON, D.C. 08 July 2020 – The Philippine Embassy in Washington, D.C. resumed its Overseas Voters Registration (OVR) on 29 June 2020 simultaneously with the resumption of limited consular services.

Overseas Voting (OV) services, in line with consular services, were temporarily suspended on 16 March 2020 in view of the declarations of state of emergency in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, to help limit the community spread of COVID-19. 

While other consular services remain suspended, regular passport services also resumed on 06 July 2020, for applicants with appointment for passport services. END
