29 April 2014 – Mabini Hometown Association of Milan celebrated its annual fiesta in reverence to its patron saint San Francisco de Paolo with its officers, coordinators and members on April 25. One of the largest Filipino association in Northern Italy, the Mabini Hometown Association is composed of Filipinos born and hailed from Mabini, Batangas and its neighboring towns.  A mass was celebrated at Simbahan ng San Silvestro e San Martino followed by a lunch. A singing contest showing the talents of Batangueños highlighted the event.  Philippine Consul General in Milan Marichu Mauro delivered an inspirational message and distributed certificates of appreciation to the association officers, coordinators and participants to the contest.
