PH Embassy in Tripoli Meets National Center for Disease Control to Discuss COVID-19 Situation in Libya

Cato met with Prof. Baderaddin Annajar, Executive Director of the Libyan National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on 25 June 2020 to discuss the coronavirus situation in Libya. In their meeting, Dr. Annajar confirmed that the Filipina emergency room nurse who tested positive for the virus last month has recovered and that there have been no reports of additional infections among members of the Filipino community in Libya.
