PH Embassy in Tehran Adjusts Facilities, Implements Recommended Health Protocols for Consular Clients

TEHRAN 15 July 2020 – The Philippine Embassy in Tehran welcomed consular applicants with confirmed appointments on 13 July 2020 after adjusting its frontline service process to better comply with health measures and recommended health protocols against COVID-19.

Applicants need to wear a mask when entering the Embassy premises where their temperatures are checked at the door. They then provide their names and contact details in the Embassy’s contact-tracing logbook, and use the provided hand sanitizer before they transact their business at the consular window.

The Embassy’s staff dealing with the transacting public is also required to wear a face mask and observe the appropriate physical distancing when attending to consular clients. The Embassy provides schedules from 9AM to 1PM on a first-come, first-served basis through email and allots two workdays per week from 13 July 2020 to ensure the continuity of consular services, except visa applications. END
