April 30 2014 – Philippine Ambassador María Consuelo Puyat-Reyes paid a courtesy call on Ms. Aurora Williams, Chile’s Minister of Mining, last March 26.

During her visit, Ambassador Puyat-Reyes discussed with Minister Williams Chile's need of qualified personnel for mining works.

The Ambassador, in a letter to Minister Williams, requested Chile’s Ministry of Mining to consider hiring Filipinos to work in the country’s mines.

This was the first of the three courtesy calls on different Ministries in less than one month undertaken by Ambassador Puyat-Reyes. END
