PH Embassy in Cairo Continues to Distribute Food Aid Bags to Filipino Community Members

CAIRO 22 July 2020 — The Philippine Embassy in Cairo continues to distribute food care packs for members of the Filipino community affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Said grocery assistance was made possible through the funding provided by the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila.

In July 2020, the Embassy distributed about 150 food care packs to Filipinos living in Cairo, Egypt.

The Embassy is exploring ways and currently establishing partnerships to provide further assistance to affected Filipinos living and working in countries within its jurisdiction – Sudan, Ethiopia, Djibouti and Eritrea. END
