PH Embassy in Tripoli Visits Filipinos in Qasr Bin Gashir, Provides Food Assistance

The compound sustained damage after being subjected to numerous artillery and rocket attacks during the more than year-long fighting for control of the Libyan capital. It was the first time the Embassy was able to visit the more than a dozen Filipinos there since the outbreak of the latest conflict in Libya on 04 April 2019.  During the visit, the Embassy not only checked on the situation of the Filipino workers but also provided food assistance to them.
