YANGON 03 August 2020 – A total of 18 Filipinos stranded in Myanmar joined the special relief flight from Yangon to Manila organized by the Philippine Embassy in Yangon, in coordination with Myanmar Airways International (MAI). The relief flight departed Yangon International Airport for Manila at 10:40 PM on 27 July 2020.

The relief flight included a Myanmar national who availed of the special relief flight to reunite with his Filipino wife in Manila, as well as an Israeli diplomat and his family for his next tour of duty in the Philippines.

This is the fifth relief flight organized by the Philippine Embassy in Yangon to help Filipino nationals return to the Philippines. END
