PH Consulate General in Chicago Resumes Overseas Voter Registration

CHICAGO 05 August 2020 – The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago resumed operations for Overseas Voter (OV) Registration on 03 August 2020.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Illinois Stay-at-Home Order, OV Registration had been suspended since 18 March 2020. However, beginning 08 June 2020, the Consulate General has gradually resumed onsite services aligned with the phased re-opening of the State of Illinois and City of Chicago.
OV Registration operations will follow the Consulate General’s Phase 4 Work Plan, i.e., every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Due to Phase 4 health and safety protocols, OV Registration primarily caters to passport applicants and dual citizenship oath takers who already have confirmed appointments.
