NEW YORK 12 August 2020 –The Philippine Consulate General in New York held its 2nd Consulate Saturday of the year on 08 August 2020. A total of 55 clients were served.

In addition to the usual consular services, the Social Security System (SSS) desk was also open to entertain inquiries.

While the rest of the Consular Outreach missions for the year have been postponed to protect the health and safety of our kababayans and personnel, the Consulate has restored its “Consulate Saturdays” and expanded them from once per quarter to once every month so as to cater to the surge in demand for consular services since the COVID-19 lockdown.

To enforce physical distancing measures and to minimize the risk of infection, the Consulate requires clients to book an appointment by visiting: https://newyorkpcg.org/our-services/online-appointment-system.

The next Consulate Saturday is scheduled on 05 September 2020. END
