TEL AVIV 14 August 2020 – The newly-elected President of the Israel Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ICCP) Yoray Ofek conveyed his plans to boost the promotion of Philippine business and investment opportunities to the Israeli business sector during a meeting on 06 August 2020 with Philippine Ambassador to Israel Nathaniel G. Imperial.

Mr. Ofek, a third-generation Israeli businessman residing in the Philippines, plans to make the ICCP a platform to conduct more online interaction among Israeli and Philippine businessmen. He enjoins the two countries’ business sector to view the COVID-19 pandemic as an opportunity to explore mutually beneficial opportunities.

“The ICCP and the Philippine Embassy in Tel Aviv have been partners in the promotion of bilateral trade between our two countries. I look forward to a stronger partnership as we face the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and focus on emerging industries such as IT-BPM, healthcare, and agriculture, which are relevant in addressing the current business conditions,” said Ambassador Imperial.

The ICCP will hold a webinar on 19 August 2020 featuring Israel as an export market. Interested parties may register at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. END
