02 May 2014- Mr. Hamoud Mohammed Al Azri, Administrator of the personal website of Omani Sultan Qaboos bin Said, paid a courtesy call on Philippine Ambassador to Oman Narciso T. Castañeda on April 13.

It may be recalled that the launching of the said website in Pilipino was one of the activities undertaken by the Embassy to celebrate the “Buwan ng Wika” last year. This initiative was hailed by the Office of President Benigno S. Aquino III.

Ambassador Castañeda commended the effort of Mr. Hamoud in collaborating with the Embassy on worthwhile projects that promote cultural understanding between the Philippines and Oman. END
