OFWs in Libya Receive Cash Assistance from PH Government

PHOTO: The Philippine Embassy in Tripoli said that a total of 250 Filipinos in Libya who were displaced by the outbreak of the coronavirus disease have each received US$200.00 in financial assistance from the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Tripoli headed by Labor Attaché Adam Musa as part of the Abot Kamay ang Pagtulong (AKAP) program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). The Embassy and POLO-Tripoli have also distributed more than 700 food packs to distressed Filipinos in Tripoli and surrounding areas.
