PHNOM PENH 04 September 2020 – The Philippine Embassy in Phnom Penh commemorated the 63rd anniversary of the establishment of the Philippines-Cambodia Diplomatic Relations through a luncheon hosted by Philippine Embassy in Phnom Penh Chargé d’Affaires Myca Magnolia M. Fischer for officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC) directly in charge of Philippines-Cambodia ties, led by Director General for Asia Pacific Hun Sarouen, on 28 August 2020.

The luncheon was an opportunity to recall high-level visits, including the highly successful State Visit of President Rodrigo R. Duterte in December 2016, and to discuss measures to further enhance relations between the two countries in the areas of trade, investment, agriculture, labor and migration, and culture.

Diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Cambodia were officially established on 20 August 1957; and about 20 bilateral agreements have been signed since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. END
