PH Consul General Calls On Hong Kong Secretaries for Food, Health and Civil Service

HONG KONG 10 September 2020 – Philippine Consul General to Hong Kong Raly L. Tejada paid a courtesy call on Food and Health Secretary Sophia Chan and Civil Service Secretary Patrick Nip on 09 September 2020.
Consul General Tejada thanked the officials for their assistance to the Filipino community amidst the COVID-19 pandemic and pledged support to Hong Kong’s efforts to eradicate the disease.
Consul General Tejada also expressed his hope for the success of the free and voluntary Universal Community Testing Program (UCTP).
The UCTP was launched on 01 September 2020 to provide a one-off free testing service for members of the public. To date, over one million have registered for the program and have been tested.
Meanwhile, the Consulate continues to encourage the Filipino community to take advantage of the program and avail themselves of the free and voluntary testing service. END
