PH Consulate General in Shanghai Repatriates 73 Stranded Overseas Filipinos

SHANGHAI 15 September 2020 — The Philippine Consulate General in Shanghai successfully repatriated a total of 73 stranded overseas Filipinos from Shanghai through the assistance of the DFA-Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs on 07 September 2020.

The repatriates were shuttled in two buses for the four-hour trip to Nanjing, China where they took a special commercial flight via PAL Express.

Consul Marlowe Miranda, Assistance-To-Nationals Officer Ella P. Acena and Protocol Officer Sanny Darren Bejarin saw the repatriates off at the Nanjing airport before they boarded the plane. END
