PH Ambassador Joins David Nikel in ‘Life in Norway’ Podcast Interview

OSLO 28 September 2020 – The 400-kilometer distance between Oslo and Trondheim did not stop Philippine Ambassador to Norway Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia and Mr. David Nikel of the ‘Life in Norway’ website from having a friendly chat via Skype. Aside from talking about the Philippines, including its world-renowned beaches and other tourist spots, culture, and people, Ambassador Batoon-Garcia and Mr. Nikel discussed the close relations between the Philippines and Norway and the daily life and work of an Ambassador posted in Norway.

During the interview, Ambassador Batoon-Garcia also proudly mentioned the contributions of overseas Filipinos in Norway, including as engineers and other professionals, and health workers, nurses, and seafarers, who have all been considered as essential workers in the time of COVID-19.
