Medical Repatriation of Filipino Community Leader in Libya
PHOTO: The Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) in Tripoli, with the support of the Philippine Embassy in Tripoli, safely repatriated Filipino Community leader Benedicta Bruno, a 65-year-old senior nurse from the Tajoura National Heart Center who is recovering from a stroke she suffered a few months ago. Aside from the Embassy and POLO, Bruno was also assisted in her recovery by members of the Filipino Community and the International Organization for Migration (IOM). She was also assisted upon her arrival in Manila on Tuesday, 29 September 2020 by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
