PH Embassy Participates in ASEAN London Committee Virtual Meeting

LONDON 01 October 2020 — Philippine Ambassador to the United Kingdom Antonio M. Lagdameo proposed projects such as an online ASEAN Food Festival at the monthly (virtual) meeting of the ASEAN London Committee (ALC) on 28 September 2020.

During the first part of the Meeting, UK’s Minister of State for Asia Nigel Adams MP briefed the ASEAN Ambassadors and High Commissioners on the UK’s COVID-19 response and vaccine development, and provided updates on Brexit. 

The ALC also had a productive discussion on its plans, programs and projects for the remainder of 2020. END
