DUBAI 09 October 2020 – The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and Northern Emirates conducted a special consular outreach on 02 October 2020 to facilitate the registration of birth and application for passport of new-born babies under the Consulate’s jurisdiction. This special consular service on a Friday, a weekend in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), was organized to accommodate more of these “special” clients in addition to services availed on regular consular days.  

The team rendered a total of 214 services during the special consular day, broken down as follows

This is the third special consular day dedicated to this service since the Consulate General resumed its consular operations after the UAE-wide lockdown in the latter part of March to April.  From the beginning of this year up to September, the Consulate General has already registered 1,918 births of Filipinos in Dubai and Northern Emirates.
