08 May 2014 - Team Philippines of the Philippine Embassy in Ankara, Turkey adopted its 2014-2016 Work Plan for Economic Diplomacy, Assistance-to-Nationals and Consular Services, Public Diplomacy and Cultural Diplomacy that is envisioned to increase trade, investments and tourists to the Philippines by at least 30 %.
Philippine Ambassador to Turkey Maria Rowena Mendoza Sanchez, assisted by Minister and Consul General Robert O. Ferrer, Third Secretary and Vice Consul Ericka Anna T. Abad and Embassy staff led a two-day workshop and planning sessions from April 11 to 12 at the Embassy Chancery.
The workshop and planning sessions were attended by the following Philippine honorary consular officials in Turkey and Georgia:

At the closing event, all the honorary consular officials signed a Pledge and Commitment form to signify their intention to fully implement the Work Plan and meet the agreed targets.

Karaoglan on behalf of the Honorary officials.
Ambassador Sanchez underscored, “We are one team in advancing the goal of economic empowerment for the Filipino people, and in advancing the bilateral relations between the Philippines and Turkey and Philippines and Georgia.” END
