8 May 2014 - The Philippine Embassy in Singapore resumed its Overseas Voters Registration program at its consular area.
The Embassy was able to record a total of forty-nine (49) registrants for overseas voting. Some of the applicants who were in the Embassy processing other consular documents took the time to register as voters for the registration process as well.
In line with the resumption of the registration process, the Embassy has also opened a page in the Embassy website to give our Filipinos in Singapore the basic information on the registration process in Singapore, as well as the various forms that can be used during the registration process: http://www.philippine-embassy.org.sg/overseas-voting-registration-2/.
The Philippine Embassy’s Overseas Voters Registration process will run from 6 May 2014 until 31 October 2015 from Monday to Friday, and during weekends at designated mobile registration sites in Singapore. New registrants will join the over 50,000 overseas voters allowed to vote in Singapore for the upcoming overseas voting process in tandem with the national elections of 2016. END
