PH Consulate General in Toronto Commends Iglesia Ni Cristo’s Generosity at the “Aid to Humanity” Charity Event

TORONTO 03 November 2020 – Philippine Consul General to Toronto Orontes V. Castro highlighted the generosity and high sense of compassion among the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) members, volunteers, and donors despite the on-going COVID-19 pandemic during his participation in INC's Celebration of Giving called “Aid to Humanity.”

The INC, through the Felix Y. Manalo Foundation, donated C$10,000.00 to support the SickKids Hospital Foundation and 10,000 lbs. of essential food items from the Church’s recently concluded two-week food drive as well as C$5,000.00 to the North York Harvest Food Bank.

The event was live streamed through WebEx to 800 households in the Greater Toronto Area and all over Canada. END
