PH Consulate General in Hong Kong Distributes Cu Masks to Filipino Community

HONG KONG 13 November 2020 — Philippine Consul General to Hong Kong Raly L. Tejada met with Filipino Community leaders at the Hong Kong PCG Conference Room to kickstart the distribution of Cu Masks (CuMask+) from the Hong Kong Government to the Filipino Community on 08 November 2020.
The CuMask+ was developed by the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA) and meets the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) F2100 Level 1 standard. It is made of six layers of specially made materials with small quantities of copper and is effective against bacteria, viruses, and harmful substances. The mask is effective for daily use up to 60 times.
The Consulate General of the Philippines in Hong Kong thanks the Hong Kong Health Department and the Innovation and Technology Bureau (ITB) for their assistance and support to the Filipino Community in Hong Kong. END
