PH Ambassador Presents Credentials as Permanent Representative of the Philippines to the United Nations to UN Secretary-General

NEW YORK 17 November 2020 — Ambassador Enrique A. Manalo formally presented his credentials as Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Philippines to the United Nations (UN) to UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres in a brief in-person and physically-distanced ceremony at the UN headquarters in New York on 10 November 2020.

Ambassador Manalo had earlier paid a virtual courtesy call on SG Guterres in August after providing the UN Protocol with a copy of his credentials.  The formal presentation of credentials was scheduled only this month after restrictions on in-person meetings in the UN headquarters were partially lifted.
