ASEAN Embassies in Mexico Donate to the Victims of Hurricane Eta in Mexico

MEXICO 01 December 2020 – The Philippine Embassy in Mexico, as the current Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Mexico City (ACMC), made a monetary donation to the Government of Mexico to assist those who were affected by hurricane Eta in Tabasco State, Mexico.

The ACMC, composed of the resident Embassies of Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, made the donation in the spirit of friendship and solidarity with Mexico. As the ASEAN region is no stranger to natural calamities, the ACMC is committed to supporting the Mexican people, and the recovery and rehabilitation of the state of Tabasco. END
