PH Embassy in Islamabad Participates in IFWA Charity Bazaar 2020

ISLAMABAD 26 November 2020 – The Philippine Embassy in Islamabad participated in IFWA (Islamabad Foreign Women’s Association) Charity Bazaar on 22 November 2020 at the Business Complex Lawn of Islamabad Serena Hotel.

This year’s bazaar beneficiaries were the Al-Firdous Welfare Association (AFWA) School, the Vocational Centre for Underprivileged Children and Youth and the Sunbeam School System.

The event was participated in by different foreign missions and Pakistani artists showcasing their exquisite hand-crafted products and food items. All the participants donated a percentage of their revenue to support the bazaar’s beneficiaries.

In the opening speech, IFWA President Ursula Keller welcomed and expressed appreciation to all the participants and visitors for their gracious contributions and dedication to help underprivileged children in Pakistan. 

The event was attended by the diplomatic community and residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

At the end of the event, Philippine Ambassador to Pakistan Daniel Ramos Espiritu donated all the proceeds of the Philippine Embassy booth to the IFWA Bazaar, through its coordinator, Ms. Faizah Rajpoot. END
