13 May 2014- The Philippine Embassy in Ankara celebrated Mother's Day on May 11 with a back-to-back showing of the movies "Anak" and "A Mother's Story." Sixty-five (65) participants from the Filipino community in Ankara attended the event and actively participated in the discussions of the films' relevance to their experiences as mothers or daughters working overseas.

The Embassy also conducted an overseas voters registration for the 2016 National Elections. Sixteen (16) Filipino community members were able to register. END
