More Filipinos Reunite with Families through PH Embassy, IOM-Jordan Repatriation

AMMAN 17 December 2020 – The Philippine Embassy in Amman and the International Organization for Migration in Jordan (IOM-Jordan) collaborated anew to bring home more Filipinos from the Kingdom.

A total of 12 adults and six children composed the second batch of repatriates who left Jordan on 07 December 2020 via Emirates Airlines. This brings to 51 the total number of Filipinos who have benefited to date from the partnership of the Embassy and IOM-Jordan.

Philippine Ambassador to Jordan Akmad Sakkam, in his send-off remarks to the repatriates, reiterated the Philippine government’s steadfast commitment in protecting the rights and welfare of Filipinos all over the world. END
