PH Demonstrates Resolve against Cybersecurity Threats in a UN Meeting
NEW YORK 24 March 2021 – The Philippine Delegation, composed of representatives from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), demonstrated the government’s resolve to ensure that the information infrastructure of the country is resilient, robust, and secure against cyberthreats during the United Nations Open-Ended Working Group (OEWG) Meeting on 12 March 2021.
The said meeting paved the way for the adoption of the report of the United Nations OEWG on developments in the field of information and telecommunications in the context of international security.
