14 May 2014 - The Manila Hawks Ice Hockey Team competed in the 2014 Mega Ice Hockey 5’s  held at Mega Ice, MegaBox, Kowloon Bayon from May 5 to 9.  The Women’s Team finished in third place while the Men’s Team took the eighth place. 

A kick-off ceremony was held on May 05 at Mega Ice which was attended by Hong Kong Tourism Board Deputy Executive Director Daisy Lui, tournament Director Keith Fong, as well as members of the diplomatic corps. 

The tournament started in 2008 and for 2014, it featured more than 100 teams from the Philippines, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, mainland China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Canada.   END
