Ambassador Romualdez Presents Credentials to Saint Kitts and Nevis Governor General

WASHINGTON D.C., 22 APRIL 2021, – Philippine Ambassador to the United States Jose Manuel G. Romualdez virtually presented his credentials to Sir Samuel Weymouth Tapley Seaton, Governor General of The Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis on 21 April 2021.
In the bilateral meeting following the virtual presentation of credentials, Ambassador Romualdez highlighted the need for both countries to explore opportunities for cooperation in the areas of trade and investment, tourism and climate change.
Ambassador Romualdez lauded Saint Kitts and Nevis’ strong efforts to mitigate the spread of the Covid-19 virus and its efficient vaccination roll-out. He also thanked the Governor General for his government’s efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of Filipinos residing and working on the island.
The Philippines and Saint Kitts and Nevis will celebrate 21 years of diplomatic relations in August. END
