19 May 2014- Upon the invitation of the religious congregation Suore Ospedaliere della Misericordia, Philippine Consul General in Rome Leila C. Lora-Santos, with Attaché Benilda Carillo, attended on  May 11  the 25^th anniversary of religious profession of Filipino nuns of the congregation, namely:

The Suore Ospedaliere della Misericordia is a congregation of religious women who have made a vow to care for the sick.

The congregation was founded on May 16, 1821 in Rome at the Hospital of St. John Lateran in response to the urgent need of the time to give care to the sick. END
