DFA-chartered Flight Brings Home 350 OFWs from UAE

DUBAI 05 August 2021 — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) chartered a Philippine Airlines flight on 27 July 2021 to bring home 350 OFW repatriates.

The repatriation flight was jointly coordinated by the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai. Aside from carrying OFWs who met difficulties during the pandemic, the flight also included medical patients, deportees, and some minor children.

Embassy, Consulate, and POLO-OWWA officials and staff were on hand to oversee the departure of the repatriates from Dubai International Airport. END
