22 May 2014 – Vice Consul Rainier Casis led a team from the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles and conducted a consular outreach program in Phoenix, Arizona, from May 10 to 11.
The consular outreach program was undertaken in cooperation with the sponsor organizations: Filipino American Business Chamber of Commerce of Arizona (FABCCA); National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA Arizona Chapter); Halo-Halo Kitchen; Kababayan Travel; Venus Travel; and FABCCA’s media partners, Arizona Filipino Forum and Chikka Magazine.
A total of 379 consular services were rendered during the two-day consular outreach program, the breakdown of which is as follows:

The consular outreach program is a regular activity of the Consulate to bring its various services closer to its constituents. According to the 2010 US Census, there are 35,012 Filipinos in the Arizona area. END
