PH Consulate General in San Francisco Holds Roundtable Meeting with Members of World Trade Center Utah

SAN FRANCISCO 31 August 2021 — The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco held a roundtable meeting with members of the World Trade Center Utah (WTC-Utah) in Salt Lake City on 12 August 2021.
Consul General Neil Frank Ferrer gave an overview to WTC-Utah on the Philippines and its economy. He shared the Philippines’ many competitive advantages, including a capable workforce, information technology and business process management (IT-BPM) hub, strong electronic manufacturing industry, and a growing startup industry.
The Consulate and WTC-Utah also engaged in in-depth discussions about business opportunities in the Philippines, including prospects in the energy sector, telecommunications, coral reef management, and startups.
WTC-Utah, a member of the World Trade Center Association, said that it shall continue to facilitate more in-depth discussions between the Consulate and its members. END
