DFA Successfully Repatriates Five Overseas Filipinos from Poland 1

WARSAW 03 September – The Department of Foreign Affairs, through the Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers’ Affairs (DFA-OUMWA), and the Philippine Embassy in Poland, successfully repatriated to the Philippines five distressed overseas Filipinos on 30 August 2021. The repatriates included two pregnant women. 

They were stranded in Poland for several weeks due to the unavailability of commercial flights, until they were able to be accommodated in the DFA-OUMWA-mounted special repatriation flight from Doha, which arrived in Manila on 31 August 2021. END
