BUDAPEST 09 September 2021 – Philippine Ambassador to Hungary Frank R. Cimafranca presented his Letter of Credence to Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić on 06 September 2021 at the Palace of Serbia in Belgrade. 

In presenting his credentials, Ambassador Cimafranca expressed his appreciation to President Vučić for the warm welcome. He further reiterated the Philippines’ commitment to further strengthen the diplomatic relations and friendship between the two countries, while expressing his gratitude for the hospitality given to the Filipino nationals in Serbia.

President Vučić extended an invitation for President Rodrigo Roa Duterte to visit Serbia, and said that he will be received in Serbia like no other country in the region has welcomed him. 

A total of 24 ambassadors presented their credentials to the Serbian President. After the presentation of the ambassadors’ credentials, President Vučić engaged them in a short and informal discussion. END
