Two Filipinas Bag Medals at Youth Weightlifting Championships in Jeddah KSA

JEDDAH 12 October 2021 – Two young Filipinas have brought home medals and honor for the Philippines in the recently concluded 2021 International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) Youth World Championships held  in Jeddah, KSA on 05-12 October 2021.

Ms. Rose Jean A. Ramos won two gold medals in the Snatch & Total Category and one silver medal for the Clean & Jerk Category. Ms. Jeaneth M. Hipolito took home the bronze medal for the Snatch Category.

Philippine Consul General to Jeddah Edgar Tomas Q. Auxilian met with the Philippine team - composed of three male and three female athletes, and their two coaches - and thanked them for their dedication, excellence, and for bringing honor to the country despite the challenges of the pandemic and being away from home.
