Kidlat Tahimik’s “Magallanes, Marilyn, Mickey y Fray Damaso. 500 Años de conquistadores RockStars” Opens in Spain’s Palacio de Cristal

The Exhibit, held at the Palacio de Cristal, at the Parque de El Buen Retiro in Madrid, Spain until 06 March 2022. Mr. Tahimik was invited by the Museum, in collaboration with the Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores, Union Europea y Cooperacion, and the Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo, to hold an exhibit for five months, until 06 March 2022, at the Palacio de Cristal, the same venue for the General Exhibition on the Philippine Islands that was held in 1887. Mr. Tahimik, his children Kidlat de Guia and Lissa de Guia, and his group of Baguio-based artists, Feliciano Dacanay Ritumalta Jr., Santos Buccahan Bayucca, Randy Gawwi Bulayo, Michael Labao Palomar, Jayson Madiwo Taguyungon, Christopher Atiwon led the Filipino Community in a daw-es cleansing ritual to bless the opening of the exhibit.
