DJIBOUTI, 22 November 2021 - Philippine Ambassador to Egypt Ezzedin H. Tago presented his credentials to President Ismail Omar Guelleh as non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Djibouti on 18 November 2021.

In his statement, Ambassador Tago conveyed the Philippine Government’s desire to further strengthen the bilateral cooperation between the Philippines and Djibouti, particularly through trade and investment, tourism, and maritime cooperation. He also thanked the Djiboutian government for graciously hosting the 300 Filipinos who have found their home in the country.

In response, President Guelleh affirmed the friendship between the Philippines and Djibouti, and looks forward to implementing the signed bilateral agreements that will mutually benefit the two countries. END
